If we had so much more income than expenses like Dubai and Kuwait, then YES. Both places have something we don't, however - the majority of their workforce are not citizens. They don't give them any social benefits (not even public schools, let alone pensions or job creation schemes), and the actual citizens that do get these benefits are only 11% in Dubai and 30% in Kuwait. Therefore, they can afford it. Alaska is having problems with those payments and covering its budget because it has to provide benefits to evryone, not jsut the top class, and I don't they shoul dmake direct payments unless they can cover their operating costs (its not worth debt).

We oculd get the same if the payments went only to the top tier and the rest got nothing. That tier would get far more than Kuwaitis or Emeriatis do. Its just the rest that owuld suffer.

no

They should just cut spending and tax us less

Our government wastes so much money they could not make the amount of money it would take to pay out a Federal dividend.

In regards to your message, just because I disagree with you strongly does not mean you need to insult me.

I happen to be in Kuwait now and they want to privatize more of their government to be more like us.

When you look at all of your examples their is Oil and a small population, this will not work unless we become Communist.
