How do i know if a game will work with a joystick?

I'm gunna buy that Xbox 360 for windows controller and i wanna know if it will work with my games.

check the back of the game near the teen label thing and it ussually says players and controllers supported

It should say ,but ask some1. I doubt it though.

most controllers will work with most emulators :)

so i would say yes.
