But I don't know if the right girl is there for me....just for me...or if she likes me because I am famous. You punks may think I am a sad case for writing about this. But I have been living in the star light for so long....I may have lost touch with reality. I want to know what regular people think. How do I know if the girl is in it for me or because of who I am? By the way...the news says I have a girlfriend who lives with me in France...but she is really my lesbian friend. I just use her (and pay her well) as a cover so women won't attack. Also........I am John Depp. Quit calling me Johnny you fags.....

Thank you and peace

Everyone says I'm not John...but how do you know? I am him and I am in need of comfort and this is why I left the US, you are all rude.

Oh, please. Explain the kids then. There's two of them. Do you honestly think people are going to fall for that? If you were really famous, you wouldn't be putting out there on this site. You'd be inconspicuous, like the rest of us. Oh, and another thing, the real Johnny Depp splits his time between the US and France. He didn't leave it.

Dear John -

Ze French are not nice people - they are rude. Anyway, in regard to your question. Is there a girl for you? Maybe the question should be: Is there a guy for you, no? You should try to hook up with another good looking male celebrity - you know, someone who can relate to your angst of living in the "starlight" for so long - maybe, a "Brat Packer" like Christian Slater, Kiefer Sutherland or Lou Diamond Phillips, you know one of the "Young Guns"? Maybe you would have better luck with someone who can understand your pain and suffering (Lou's first wife was a lesbian too) and not feel so taken advantage of or scared that they want more than you could possibly ever give because they too, are shallow. Good Luck, Dude!

You need to find a girl who doesn't know who you are. Then you will know it's genuine. Johnny is cute. John sounds like your addressing someones Father. I thought you were married. Why would you come back to the States after you gave the bird and got on a plane to go live in another country and then came back to make more money in movies? Does that seem like a good American? Would you say that to a veteran like me?

OK..."Johnny", it's unfortunate to hear of your bewoes with fame.

Surely, at some point in your career, you pondered on fame, it's costs on a person emotionally....and asked yourself "Can I handle it"? It appears now, maybe you weren't true to yourself back then.

You're not alone and know others in the same boat that's taking in more water than you can at times bail out. The common man can go out and enjoy a sunny day in the park with his kids; you do the same and get swamped by the photogs.

I think the worst case posed in your situation was that of Elvis: look hard at what all that fame (and the fortune that came with it) did to him and his life. Graceland was his gilded prison.

With enough said, public fame does levy it's fortunes--and it's sacrifice of privacy and sincerity amongst people you have to judge alone are truly your friends. Be your own best judge and please do walk fame's tightrope carefully.

I'm sure your who you say you are. "John", by the way Johnny Depp has said nothing about not wanting to be called Johnny, and if he did I'm sure it would be in something like People Magazine, not yahoo answers. If you're Johnny Depp I'm Napoleon Bonepart, NOW BOW DOWN TO THE EMPEROR OF FRANCE AND CONQUEROR OF EUROPE, I SAID BOW DOWN!

I am a big fan of Johnny's and i remember him talking on the Howard Stern show about wanting to be called Johnny. You are not he, if you were you would not be calling your fans names... JD is not an a**. Also JD likes his privacy, if he wanted advice he'd speak to a close friend or family member, not the many people in yahoo answers. Keep dreaming.

Johnny Depp would never say this. He's kinda hippie-ish and finds time spent more wisely spending it with his family rather than on a computer.

O.k. yes the right girl is out there for you and she should like you
For who you really are,not for what you really have or what's in it
For her. not everyone here in the U.S.A. is rude take me for
Instance i love people and i care for them too, you should learn
To appreciate being liked for who you are, not everybody has
That Luxury.

As long as we put our jeans on the same way, I'd have to like someone as a person, limelight or not. I would never go with someone just because they have achieved celebrity status.
