There was a show on TNT and i can't remember the name but the main chacter's name was Jared?

The main chacter's name was Jared and he could be anyone. There was another chacter and his name was Sydney...I hope that someone knows what show i am talking about. The show was on early in the morning before Angel and Charmed.

my guess is the Pretender. It was a great show that was on for 3 seasons and he pretended to be different occupations while trying to find his real parents since he was raised in a institution of some sort
