Golfing at the Tagaytay Highlands is nice if you can find a member to sponsor you.

Also, it's a short two to three hour ride to nearby beaches in Nasugbu, Batangas.

Ka Freddie's is a good place to hang out and listen to local Filipino music. The owner is a singer/compose who's known for the song "Anak" which was a hit around Asia in the 80s.

If food is your thing, try a hearty "bulalo" soup in the many restaurants with a view of the Tagaytay crater lake. Try a meal at Sonia's Garden.

It's true that there are a lot of things to do in Tagaytay, including horseback riding near and around the crater of Tall Volcano. But be wary of your guides. Some of them are just plain crooks! I mean, they will charge you heaven and earth for an hour stroll there! Good also if you can find a member of Tagaytay Highlands to go with you there. Great place! You can go cable car riding, play golf, and a lot of other things.

Tagaytay City provides a good view of the Taal Volcano. A perfect place for leisure activities like picnics, horseback riding, camping, great golfing at two championship courses, plus breath taking sightseeing.

They're practically a stones throw away from each other there's almost no difference. Well almost. I'd say Tagaytay, the palengke is known to sell cheap beef. Public park is not exactly a strongpoint of either, but there is the Tagaytay Picnic Grove which is one of the well known tourists spots there. Also, get property facing Taal lake for a breathtaking view. Libraries! Oh man... if only we Filipinos liked to read more. I don't know of any libraries in either. Best libraries (if not the only libraries) will be found in univiersities and also, there is the National Library.

Enjoy the cool weather and scenery. There are lots of good places to eat, If you have money to spend, I recommend having a a meal at Antonio's or Sonia's Garden. If on a budget, there's a row of affordable restaurants overlooking Taal volcano. You can order good Filipino food at Leslie's. You can go to a casino at Taal Vista Lodge or you can relax and unwind at the Tagaytay Nurture spa.

I would say People's Park and Tagaytay Picnic Grove.
Turn left from Rotonda and take a Jeepney ride to that places.

In Tagaytay Picnic Grove, there's a Zipline, Horseback Riding, Picnic area. For those who wanted to do picnic, there is a charge for the use of cottages.
Zipline cost is P350-P400 depending on days of the week. You can see forest ravine down there.

In People's Park (turn left from Rotonda and travel till the end of the road), you can see Palace in the Sky. A Palace suitable for sightseeing and assembly gathering. You can see mostly small bazaars for selling souvenirs.

You can get morning exercise with a steep slope (around 30 degrees angle slope elevation).

Sightseeing for Taal Volcano. But if you wish to go there, turn left from Rotonda if you're travelling from Sta. Rosa (Laguna) or Silang (Cavite), go turn right to the road 9 kms. travel zigzag line and you reach Batangas area. You can see several resort houses near Taal Lake, and those wishing to travel straight to Taal Volcano by boat.

hike up to the crater (or ride the horse going up), enjoy some fresh crispy fried tawilis and if your budget allows, go for a spa visit at the farm.
