Becoming lesbians? I don't believe your premise. Lesbian/Gay are born that way, and things are no different today than they have ever been in regards to percentage of Gay/Lesbian people.

Just to irritate me. Why couldn't it be only the unattractive (to me), masculine womeone that become lesbians?

Seriously, nobody "becomes" a lesbian, except in the sense that they are born. There are always women who are bisexual and who choose to be with women for the moment, but that's not "becoming a lesbian," and anyway, at least half of them are going to change their minds and go back to batting for the other team at some point in the future. (It usually goes something like, "OK, this is fun, but who brought the penis...?")

Women who are actually lesbians were already lesbians, whether they told anyone about it or not. If they happen to be attractive and feminine, well, more power to 'em!
(still a crying shame, though)

This is why. Men are pigs, disrespectful, inconsiderate, rude, crude, non carring, judgemental, oh the list goes on.

Yes I am a man, and at one time I was all of those things. After a failed marriage, a concern only for me, and some other extra curricular activities I realized I was not a real man. After some counceling, some growing up, and another chance at a relationship I am not that bad.

I do understand a women wanting to be with another women. Who better to understand a women better. To each their own I say. Who am I to judge.

I know a few that chose to become lebians because men were so bad for them emotionally. But most of the women that I know that are lesbians were that way from the beginning. The few that chose it, some have recanted. Maybe if guys would tune in to their emotions and treat the girls with some compassion and understanding, those women wouldn't "switch sides". I think that you should see who you want to see, as long as they treat you with dignity and support your emotional needs and well being.

the question should be why are so many women becoming lesbians, it doesn't matter if a woman is attractive or not since being attractive is a subjective condition.

Every move one makes in life is by choice; therefore, making gay/lesbian a choice. The answer to your question is simply because they choose to live this life. Repent is all I can say. Ask the Lord for forgiveness. This is not a christian lifestyle. I know times are changing but NO place in the bible does it say one day it will be okay to hook up with the same sex.

Becuase guys are so worthless when it comes to the very attractive woman. For god sakes we can't walk down the street or go to the mailbox without being hounded. Plus they are more eager to lie to stay on the good side.

Honestly, men are jerks. They don't think like us and it would be nice to have someone who you could actually relate to. I say all of this yet I am in a relationship with a man. I think it is sweet justice to all of the abuse women have suffered at the hands of a man.

If a persons going to say they are or be a lesbo because a man has hurt them in some way or another, the better rethink the whole situation, because he didn't hurt them because he's a man it's because, that's what some people do to each other man or woman

You really can't blame them, men look like hairless apes. I'm a man and I seriously can't figure out what women find attractive about me or any man for that matter.
