Have you ever dissected anything? Where and Why?

I have dissected a squid and a mackerel at a field trip, and a sheep heart, owl pellets, a worm and a frog at school

I have dissected a sheep heart, frog, worm, rat, cat, dog, human cadaver, a catfish, a guinea pig, a snake, a pig, a turkey and a chicken. For jobs or schooling is why.

I dissected a squid, a clam, a shark, and a frog. The first three it was during an after school club. I did it because it was cool. the frog was an assignment in my sophomore biology class.

I've dissected a frog, fetal pig, shark, and a cat all from 7th grade-12th grade.

I think the cat was the most interesting but I had to thank my lab partner for making it interesting.

Several things. Too many to remember all of them. Where and why? School. My degree in biology required tons of lab classes which invariably involved dissection.

yes, we even dissected a cat back in high school. it was difficult, it was still alive last time i saw it, next thing i saw, it was like crucified on this wooden board with its body opened from the thorat down to the stomach.

a worm in 7th grade science class, and a frog in high school. why? Because we had to do it or flunk.

yeah...Biology lab in my first year of University...I have dissected an earthworm,a rat and a fish. This is not something I usually brag about though. :)
