I really hate ipods, i had 2 already and they have always dissapionted me on most levels. I had an i river and that was great. Now a friend has an iAudio by Cowon Systems and i am very impressed with it, but i have also just seen the new sony. Any ideas?

I have a Creative Zen and it's great. I've dropped it HARD on the sidewalk a few times and no problems. It's stalled twice in six months, but I just hit the reset button and it starts right back up again.

Thank god u hated the iPods.i too have the video iPod and hate it to the core.I was looking to sugest u the sony NW-HD5 if u r looking for a
20GB storage with a decent battery life of up to 40 hrs.
u can also consider the following ones:
# sony NW-A1000(6GB) Battery life only 14 hrs but looks cool than any player i've seen i my whole life
#MobiBlu B153 2GB only but has the greatest battery life of 146hrs.
