so i have been reading questions and answers but it seem that people r giving two answers. so if any one really knows the answer for sure please tell me. ok so i know that when you ovulate your cervix is supposed to be high and soft. and after i assume it gets hard and low. now say once the egg implants itself does your cervix stay hard and low or does it get soft and high again. or does it just depend on the person. just wondering cause my period is due in a few days and cervix feels pretty hard. also what would my discharge be like if in fact i was pregnant

it stays hard and low until you go into labor. trust me! when your cervix starts softening again, it will be when youre ready to give birth. discharge is very common, due to the increases hormones and what not, whiteish in color, just as long as it never has a foul odor its fine.

When you become pregnant your cervix closes, so it will become hard & low. When you go into labor & dialate your cervix gets high & soft. As far as discharge goes, you may experience some light bleeding caused by implantation of the fertilized egg if you indeed are pregnant. Some women even mistake this for their period, as did I. Other than that you might have a clear or slightly milky like discharge. I experienced bleeding with both of my pregnancies & ended up with healthy children

The cervix stays hard once the egg is fertilized to help protect the fetus. The discharge I have is brownish. The tissue of the cervix and vagina turns bluish purple if you are pregnant also. I reccommend What to Expect When Expecting. It will tell you everything you need to know about this. Good Luck!!

the cervix Will get hard and high this is because ,the egg or a fetus developing with in your body that is in your womb it will protect the fetus from infections and also against disease causing bacteria it will protect the fetus from it. then the cervix will be soft only when you are dropping the baby out through normal delivery but not in the case of cicerone.the vagina and the surrounding part when on normal delivery it becomes hard first because ,it creats the pressure to push the foetus forward ,immidiatly afterharning it will become soft because ,when the foetus is comming forward the vagina and it surrounding part will not affect the the foetus.and also it is easy to deliver a baby through normal delivery.

Usually the cervix stays low and hard after conception, but sometimes (as was in my case) the cervix retreats up high. It should stay hard though, thats what keeps it closed!
