land of the dead(vieo game) it wasn't the best game ever buut it only cost 40 bucks and you got to kill hundreds of zombies invading a small room with friends online

Final Fantasy VII Advent Children was a disappointment. The Resident Evil movies are too. Man, there's no good screenwriters around anymore. Every movie is based on a game or a comic book nowadays, or is a remake. Originality is lost.
I'm indifferent on this.

The best movie based on a game is Clue hands down. I love that movie! My favorite game based on a movie is probably Lord of the Rings trivial pursuit.

I thought Doom was really cool, despite some bad reviews it received. It was really true to the game, and the environment, while perhaps too dark for many movie-goers (both literally dark and dark in tone), I thought it was a great movie (I'm not talking about Academy Award quality, just a fun movie) based on a great game.

My pick it would be The Warriors, I think that the video game keeps the spirit of the film; and that was, in my opinion very hard to do.
My second pick, it would be The Great Escape; playing as Steve McQueen was great.
Finally, The Thing; a great game and a nice touch at the end of the game for fans of the film.

So, it's not a video game... but Clue is definitely my favorite movie based on a game. It stars Tim Curry and it is hilarious!

Spiderman 2 is a good game... hope Superman Returns can be as good
