Just gauging people's emotional responses to sport victories/losses. Tell me what your team is and whether they won/lost/drew.This question assumes your country is actually playing the FIFA World Cup (duh!).

Mourn, oh no there was nothing to mourn even though Brazil did outscore my undeniably gutsy Australian Socceroo's. Because for us they have exceeded all expectation already so we have not stopped celebrating since they first took the field. The celebrations will continue no matter what happens. That is the pride these boys have instilled in us. The celebration was in the fact that no one here was disappointed in the performance or effort given by the team. To not win on points and still have your countries total support and respect is a feat in itself. Many in Australia attended live outdoor coverage at various venues and continued to party hard after the game was over, actually a lot of them would still not be home. Definitely no reason for us to mourn.

My country of birth and the team I support: Argentina
Performance: Won both games

Hmmm...well, I celebrated with my family (I live in the USA, so I'm surrounded by Mexicans and Americans), yelled like crazy, waved a flag around, wore the Albiceleste jersey I got for the 2002 Cup, called some friends, and posted my thoughts in a long LiveJournal entry and an email to my best friend (in Argentina).

Trinidad & Tobago here...
This is our first appearance for a world cup.
When we qualified a public holiday was given.
We drew the first game, but lost the second.
That doesn't matter much. The fact that we're the smallest country ever to qualify is enough for the people of my country. We back them all the way, win or loose, everyone celebrates, wearing their national colors with pride.
On the high ways, most vehicles show national flags,on the day of the match, there is a sea of red, white & black (our national colors), anywhere you go.
A big nationwide party awaits the end of (& even during) the match .
I know it may sound odd to you, but it's the pride we get from our players that keeps us patriotic.
GO T&T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I say Portugal is the likely to insurrection in the adventure that they lose the perfect. They lost the Euro Cup very last in 2004 to Greece...we talked about how Greece performed their "anti-football" approach so that they had to take it undesirable. Now the followers are so wanting to get in the perfect and win...their anger would become a insurrection in the adventure that they lose this one...a scale 5 i'd say.merely vandalism, blocking off trafic and demanding the peace.

Well the US just stunk up the joint in the first game against the Czechs, but the second game against Italy was much better. I wish the referees would keep the cards in their front pockets a bit more, but I am pleased that the Americans still have a chance to qualify - it gives me an excuse to tune in Thursday morning.

Spain beat Ukraine 4-0, I was delighted, but as I was at work at that time I couldn't celebrate properly!
Hopefully Spain will win tonight as well, I plan to watch the game with my friends and really enjoy it!!!

it was a draw, and against the italians, so considering... I am pretty stoked so far. I didn't have time to celebrate, however... I am wishing I was in Italy, or nearly anywhere in Europe to show support at the games.... and I have "Oh-Lay, oh -lay, oh-lay, oh-lay" stuck in my head.
