Scavenger hunts are always fun. You could make it a 007 theme.

do like the davinci code and hide symbols that mean stuff all over the camp and the first one to discifer it all gets a big prize. Make puzzles like in the game Myst, riven, or exile. Or like the Davinci code where symbols mean things. You can draw on a boys knowledge of popular books also you can draw on the symbols and stuff used in A series of Unfortunate events by lemony snicket. Also the spy kids series can give you ideas on spy gadgets ect and go to websites where they talk about spy teniques and the like and incorprate it.

hmm.. Make like a James Bond theme. Let theme be like a free for all and let them have Water Guns.Make them find clues and they can shoot each other to get clues. Thats my idea

what is that tv show where the group has to figure out who the mole is. something like that might be fun for them,
