In other words, how do you feel about death?

That's one thing I dont wanna think about . But the thoughts which forcibly enter my mind just scare me . Fear factor is of missing this world not just the people I know or the things I do but I guess also missing even you guys whom I dont know personally . Missing all those activities I have not ventured into . There is so much to do & see & so less is the time . That 'someday' in the question if comes after a few hundred years in everybody's life will become a choice instead of an end .

Death is one of the most intriguing aspects of life.

Why does it exist? Why can't we get a DNA transplant or something and keep on going, just like the elements that comprise our bodies?

Death gives a sense of purpose.

I believe we are all marked by our maker with an expiration date, that our bodies are on loan - vehicles for our souls. I think we all have the feeling that we are supposed to be using our lives for something, or that we are part of a design, and we have a consuming desire to learn what that might be.

Death is a transition.

Just as a baby in the womb could never anticipate the life awaiting it on the outside, I believe that another life awaits us outside of this, beyond our present comprehension.

Death is the ultimate adventure.

I live in awe, in sadness, in joy, in love, in anticipation and in hope. I feel the same way about death. I'm thankful for the life I've been given, but I don't fear the end.

Death isn't an end. It's a transition. I get to play catch up with those that passed over. I especially look forward to being reunited with all my pets. I go thru my life review and then decide what lessen I'm to learn the next time around. ~ That's the part I don't like,i.e. starting from scratch again just as I've made some spiritual headway this time around.

DEATH IS A BRIDGE! Yes Death is a bridge between the physical world and the astral world. When death comes,we leave the physical world and passover the bridge to enter the astral world, which is a better, nobler, richer, more beautiful, more radiant world.
DEATH IS AS SWEET AS GOING OFF TO SLEEP.
SLEEP IS DEATH'S TWIN BROTHER.
DEATH CAN ONLY TOUCH THE MORTAL BODY.
God prepares for us a house which is much better than this one and then calls us there.Death is only moving on from an old house to a new one.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am going to live forever, whoever gave you the silly notion that I am going to die someday?!?!?
And how do I feel about Death? Well, he sounds a lot like Adam Corolla and he keeps yapping about the ankle he broke at some guy named Peter's house and how it's never been the same to walk on, but he's an okay guy. As long as you can get past his breath.

I'm not happy about it. I hope to avoid it for as long as possible, but not at the cost my principles. I like Mel's line in Braveheart. I admire the ancient Norse philosophy of meeting death bravely and with humor, laugh in Death's face as it were. If I could find something that's worth dying for, I would like to die fighting for it rather than dying of cancer or old age. But death usually comes unforeseen, and one tends to put these things off until it's too late.

Someone once said "we all owe a death.' Having read The books by Carlos Castaneda, I was Intrigued by His account in "The Eagles Gift" of how Our Job in Life was to collect Memories, Which is The food of of the creator, But that A man of knowledge, could ask to keep his memories and be aware of them as he entered into his next life . That would be a great advantage! I hope to be alert enough on my passing, to ask for such a gift!, And I hope to realize my Impending death, and look it in the Eye without fear as I end this turn, and await the next.

death. so mysterious. although without death you would not have life...as in a continual cycle of winter followed by spring. the sunrise would not be as beautiful if the night never took its time as well.

i guess of course you're always a bit apprehensive. like..sure if i die peacefully, it's the best way. but what if i suffer tremendous pain? cancer? life is unpredictable. but...(uh oh religious insertion! haha)

since i believe in the resurrection of Jesus, i believe he will rise us when our physical bodies disintegrate into the dirt- and our spirits will live on through eternity. love lives on- and it is a power far unable to be grasped by the limited knowledge of humankind...so although we are able to love, i do not think it is an actual physical component of our bodies, but our spirits.

I don't care about the death of my body, because I'm going to program my brain into a robot and live the rest of my days terrorizing mankind.
