What a question!

Society must really have changed for the worse. When I was young, my parents would never have worried about us being out. Being out of the house was a good thing. It meant we were being active, not sitting in front of the tv getting fat and lazy.

Crime was negligible. We would always be riding our bikes, swimming, playing at friends' houses, or practicing some sport.

I swear to god, I'm gonna move to Europe.

Some parent think by letting their children out and agreeing with them will keep their children loving them. They want to be a friend. They fail to realize that children need discipline and structure. It gets them ready for the real world. Where there are murderers and rapist and drug pusher out at night. Children don't need to see that.

They are so afraid that their children will grow up and hate them. No parent should be afraid of their child.

I'm only 22, one in a few who did have the maturity to stay out of trouble, but I'm just different. I'm an understanding person, and very observant. And if these half-****** parents don't do something with these children, there's more possibility that something will happen to them.

Unfortunately, there are plenty of bad parents in this world. If it means a quiet night without the kids, most parents just let them go. I understand that there has to be some level of trust between parents and kids, but many parents fail to raise there kids appropriately.

They let them out after dark because they are children of the night and they seek to dine on the blood of the innocent ones out there!!!! Just kidding!!!! They let them out to burn off some energy to make them sleep better at bedtime. Some parents let the kids out so they can relax and talk without the kids being there and causing commotion.

Its a funny thing called trust. Most parents trust that they have raised their children correctly and they won't do anything stupid when not supervised. Unfortunately, some kids abuse this trust, and ruin it for everyone.

because if they dont let them, then the children will just go out without permission...so its better to know where they are going and who they are with rather than not knowing...and maybe you are underestimating the level of maturity of some children...ud be surprised how mature children are

Who are you to say how much maturity most teenagers have? Maybe your kids aren't mature but that doesn't mean everyone's teenagers are the same way.
