No they dont.

Many keep guppies just so that they can feed the fry (the babies) to other fish as live food. It is a good way of knowing what the quality of the feeder fish are and also helps keep the population of guppies in the tank under control.

No, I haven't heard of any cases of them dying after giving birth. Someimes their babies die after they are born, though, because their Mommy, Daddy, Uncles, Aunts, even un-related guppies will snack on them. Be sure to seperate them from the other fish using a breeder net or something similar.

no, Guppies multiply like flies!!!! but they will have a tendacy to kill each other....This is when you have a over crowded tank and dominate males who play rough. If you are raising guppies...try a bigger tank... and try re-arranging tank when all fish become territoral..it confuses them.

No they don't die. But the babies can die if they get eaten so be careful and get one of those things to seperate them.
