Recently I watched National Treasure on HBO. It was a good brain teaser and mild action picture.
Better to ask, suggest a good romantic comedy or action film, etc. There is so much to choose from.
I went to see Over the Hedge. It was as good as Chicken Run as comedies go. Animated.
Casablanca, Citizen Kane, RKO 281 about the making of Citizen Kane, The Aviator, Overboard, Ocean's Eleven, E. T. Star Wars, The Godfather.

Serious:
-Million Dollar Baby (I thought I'd hate it, and it was one of the best movies I've ever seen)
-Cinderella Man (Russell Crowe should have won an oscar)
Funny:
-Old School (you've gotta love Vince Vaughn and Will Ferrell)
-Swingers (a funny movie about wannabe swinger guys with Vince again and Jon Favreau)
Action:
-Batman Begins (pretty enjoyable)
-Spiderman 2 (I loved this movie)
Horror:
-The Grudge (some people didn't find it scary, but it FREAKED me out!)
-Saw (very disturbing, with a twist at the end)
