why do people think mixed children will have a bad life growing up??

That was like 20 years ago. Nowadays everyone is mixed. The majority of people don't think that anymore.
Plus, if a person is mixed with black, they are categorized as black which is mainly why people made that statement in the first place.

My children are mixed... that doesn't mean they will have a bad life growing up... this is the new generation... there are sooo many children that are more than one race. How would being more than one race cause a child to have a bad life growing up?! I think it depends on the parent... if they are a good parent or a sh*ty parent.

The whites won't accept them as white. The blacks won't accept them as black. They are a person in their own right. The people that say why can't we all ust get along are the ones that are the hardest ones to get along with. A real person is color blind.

Of course they are. That doesn't mean that they aren't going to have their own special difficulties in life. I don't think they are cursed to a bad life, just a bitter harder and different that most.

Because they may stand out. They may become a target of public ridicule; either on the playground or in the workforce.

because a lot of people think that neither side will accept them, but i know many mixed people and for most, that simply isn't the case.
