At first the gum was really great - the cards were a bonus for the gum, but as time went on the companies figured out that people were not really buying the packs for the gum but for the cards, and that huge stick of gum got less soft and had less flavor as well - and smaller too. Most of them just cut the gum out entirely after a while. It really was great gum in the earlier years.

Hell, yeah!That was the highlight of me opening up packs of cards back then! The gum tasted great too!Those were the days. They don't put bubble gum in packs anymore, though.

not as much as i liked the bubble gum that came in a bag of "chew" or the cigerette bubble gum...
the fun stuff always goes but the flavors were good

It's more like the first 15 seconds you were crunching on it..... then for the next 5 mins you were chewing it..... then soon there after, you're trying to find a desk to stick it under......
or some girl's hair that you thought was your next girlfriend!! lol

Oh the memories are flooding back!!! That gum was the most awful, stiff, sugar-filled, piece of cardboard I have ever tasted.

oh yea i remember those! Could only chew it for about 1 minute and then it got hard and the flavor ran out. But it was fun savin up a little change to buy it.
