You see them because you are linked to the server they reside on, but unless you provide the source code (html link) in your email, your recipient can't see them. One way to get around this is to copy the pics to your harddrive and then attach them as files to your email message.

Try attaching as an attachment as well as coping and pasting into the document.
Likely your computer is seeing the picture on the hard drive and so it can display it in the E-mail from memory but after it is sent, no picture is really included in the document.

Even if it doesn't work in-lined in the E-mail an attachment will help in sending the pictures at all. You can then talk about the names of the Pictures in the E-mail to avoid confusion.

here are some possibilites as to why this might happen:
1. If you are copying and pasting from your local drive (your own PC), it may not show up becuase the receiver does not have the same file as you.
2. If you are copying and pasting from a website, the website might have disabled hotlinking (bandwidth theft) and disables the copying and pasting.
3. You might not be doing the process of inserting a picture into an email correctly.

hope this helps.

You cannot copy and paste a photo, you must use the attach process.

I don't know how to explain the technical reasons, but if you Insert or Attach it will work. Most of the time you can drag a pic to email but that doesn't always work.
