Do a spectacular logo for yourself and print it on business cards and flyers.
The two best forms of advertising is, number one, and for a good reason: WORD OF MOUTH. Number two: the phone book. Spend the extra cash and get the ad that will display your own logo (it is fantastic so flaunt it).
Do a really good job for your customers, give them a good rate, a great design, and meet their deadline. They will send you new customers and before you know it you will be swamped.
Go ahead, hang a sign and jump in. You can do it.
