Research can help you determine the way you perceive something...and aids you in determining...what You believe!

There is no correct answer for any specific person. Some people are more fulfilled through their beliefs and others through the gain of knowledge. But its all in perspective and the individual. Some could argue that through their knowledge they develop beliefs or others could say they learn from the beliefs. Its relative really...

I think it is more essential to develop beliefs because having these can give you a better sense of self-worth and having strong beliefs and a good self image can make life easier and happier.
All the knowledge in the world can still make you a very lonely person if you don't take what you know and develop your own beliefs.

Gain knowledge, so many people out there that get indoctrinated in to a religion as a child before gaining any true knowledge about the world first. That to me is a kind of child abuse, because sometimes your beliefs can stop you from seeking more answers to questions making you content an complacent. I think one of the biggest sins is being ignorant, and doing nothing about it. Just because you have faith and believe in something doesn't means it's true.

To gain knowledge is good, but if you don't use it for anything (like beliefs) than you still use it but not for things that could matter in the future. I think knowledge is more important but you still need your beliefs.

It is best to gain all the knowledge you can about as many things as you can. Beliefs without knowledge are false beliefs.
