The referees deciding games is driving me crazy. I can't believe they called Dirk for a foul on that last play. They just won't let the players play. Sometimes I can't figure out what constitutes a foul in the NBA and I've been watching games since I was about 10 years old.

If a guy gets fouled then the refs have the right to decide the game. You just can't blatantly not call a foul. Wade got tripped up in the air on the last play. Just because it's the last play doesn't mean you don't call the foul. Refs that don't call fouls at the end of games aren't officiating the whole game, are they? And if the Mavs are such a great "team," and the Heat are just Dwyane Wade, then why can't the whole Mavs team beat Dwyane Wade, huh? They obviously aren't a very good team if they're letting the Heat, who are obviously just one player (sarcasm), beat them.

The Finals are not being handed to anyone. Yes, the calls have SUCKED ROYALLY--but nobody is handing anyone the trophy...! If you look back at the playoffs and every game played, EVERY team has lost a game because of a "suggestive" call. Miami is a really good team, and so it Dallas. A champion is supposed to be able to play through the good and the bad, and not let details get in the way. All the "Great" teams like the Lakers, Bulls, the recent Spurs, and Pistons have done so and succeeded. The road to winning isn't easy--ask any past champ! You can't complain--you just have to look at what you can do better. If Dallas is truly the champs, then tonight shouldn't affect them like it did--it should drive them! Miami can smell it now--and I don't know if Dallas has the composure or experience to match theirs...!

You don't call fouls on the last play of the game. I've watched basketball for years now. I don't even know if I've seen more than 2 or 3 games when there was a foul on the last shot of the game. There was just nothing blatant enough to warrant a call, ESPECIALLY IN THE FINALS! The refs are just trying to be above the game. I don't care what two teams are playing, this just isn't good basketball, NBA, NCAA, high school, whatever. Its like if the Stanley Cup were decided on a shootout, you just can't end a basketball game on the free throw line.

I agree! If the Heat didn't have D Wade they wouldn't be ahead right now. They don't even need Shaq. But I would say that the officials also did a really good job of winning the game for the Heat. I can't wait to get back to Dallas!

The Mavs have crumbled in the finals, I'll agree, but they fought this game and nothing was given to them. They deserve it this year! The league is a complete joke right now. They should not call a stupid thing like that to decide a game. THEY KNOW BETTER! They knew that would go to the heat!

Admittedly, calling Dirk for the last foul was not the best call, but there was contact all over that play...bottom line, it worked out because before that in the OT there were some super questionable calls that went to the Mavs (Shaq foul on Dirk, Haslem foul on rebound, out of bounds call...)...bottom line, the refs were AWFUL in this game...both ways...no consistency whatsoever...

I'm pretty impartial on this series by the way, I'm a hoops fan, but not a Heat or Mavs fan...

Maybe because the Heat has Dwayne Wade and Shaq and they score 40+ points a game

Clearly the heat is not playing better just by losing # 1 point the game in the air it can go either way.

However both teams deserves the honor of being were they are and may the best team win.

Because the league had to many complaints that a white boy won the MVP, now we can't have another team led by a white boy win the championship.
