The real problem is she's very beautiful and India's highest paid actress. She's hated because she has more European features than Indian. Also some people in the Indian culture feel she doesn't cover or represent Indian women in a respectable manner. It's called hateration. She's my favorite Bollywood star. If you rent any of her movies you'll see why.

she is indian. but i believe she's from the north. it is a fact that northern indians (punjabis) are extremely fair in skin colour. some can look almost like westerners if they didn't have indian facial features. however, i can't say much about her green eyes. it may just be coloured contacts. or that she is mixed. who knows?
