something went wrong with my computer and my registry got all messed up now task manager and command prompt will not open does anybody know how to fix them?

Hey
What you could try doing is running System Restore (Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools) to restore the computer and registry to what it was like before this problem occured. You will not lose any files during this process.
If that doesnt work try scanning your computer for spyware and viruses (do this on a regular basis anyway with up-to-date software)
