I have very sensitive skin and i just spent a butt-load of money on the new Gillette Fusion Power razor with the battery and the whole 9. My neck continously breaks out in razor burn a day or two after i use it. I'm able to shave about once a week. I have done everything i have ever heard to supposedly alleviate burn, no luck. How long do i need to keep shaving with this stupid razor before my skin adjusts?

It's just too harsh for your skin. Try some shaving creams/balms for sensitive skin and a new razor. Surely what you spent isn't worth all this.

Or splurge on a straight razor shave at the barber shop.

My hubby has sensitive skin so he sports a stubble look everyday. Very sexy.

I don't think your skin really gets adjusted to the razor... it is the angle of the hair growth with respect to the cut which takes a few days to adjust.... but that usually happens when switching from electric to manual.

Try shaving without the fusion turned on... and use less pressure. Seems like you are shaving against the grain which is causing razor burn. Try Noxema moisturizing cream instead of shaving cream.
