OK if you have a cotton comforter, use nail polish remover...If you have polyester in the material be carefull with nail polish. When using nail polish remover be sure to have a cloth underneath the spot you are doing if possible. Don't worry about the smell, after it has properly dried spray a Little Febreeze on it...Then get into bed and catch some Zzzzzz's

Try using nail polish remover on the spot, but use it with caution it may stain your comforter even more. But it's worth a shot?

Don't use nail polish remover. You may remove colour from the comforter or damage the fibers. Even non-acetone remover may damage the comforter.

Wash it regularly in the washing machine. This should do it.

Dab a little nail polish remover on the spot. Do this very carefully. Use non-acetone, its not as harmful or harsh.

http://www.faqfarm.com/Q/How_do_you_get_red_nail_polish_off_of_a_white_blanket

There's a website that tells something about getting nail polish off of a white blanket...that might be sort of the same thing.

There's another website, that's for getting it out of a mattress, that might be a little bit closer.

Also, if your comforter is a "colorfast washable", then Shout I think would work. I read it on the back of the bottle...it says it gets makeup out, is that sortof the same thing?

I may be young, but Google and reading the backs of bottles gets you far!
