All you can do is just stand beside her. Unfortunatley, there isn't alot that you can do if she chooses to go back to him.

first off, this chick needs another guy in her life that treats her like a princess in order to get her mind off of the other guy that abuses her...until then she will continue going back to him
no matter what he does to her, she will go back, until she meets someone else, and even then she might feel guilty @ times for turning down the looser, but right now all she needs is support, true support, and being an example is what will encourage her even more, so i dont know her exact situation, but try living the way that you might think you wish she'd live
hope that helps! : )...and im really sory to hear that this guy is abusing youre friend..that pisses me off b/c of personal past expeirnces with guys..

Just be there for her. Don't judge her or else she won't feel comfortable coming to you when she needs a friend. Only give advice when it is solicited. Just listen mostly and sympathize. It is up to her to decide when enough is enough and she will only end up resenting you if you try to but in too much. The oppurtunity will present itself for you to give your opinions. Just don't do too much volunteering and don't let her problems become your problems. Just Listen, Cheer her up, give a shoulder to cry on, be a friend. Don't try to fix her problems. Only she can do that.

they only way is to get her to a third party who can unbiasly asses she needs the relationship exposed for what it is and when multiple people tell here it's stupid to go back again and again to someone who keeps hitting you she may get the hint. Maby he is providing for her materialism and she thinks the hits are worth is as "payment" for having these things then your friend has greater problems.

Statistics say she'll go back 7 times before she leaves for good.
Nothing short of spiritual / psychological breakthrough could help that I know of...
and if you want my advice I wouldn't interfere if I were you. She needs to learn from this... she's not in this situation for no reason.

It sounds like you might need some outside help. Talk to her family or some other authoritative figure in her life. She may get upset with you for doing this, but once she realizes it's for her own good she'll understand why you did it.

The only thing you can do is keep being there for her. One day she will realize that he will never change, and she will need her best friend to turn to.

There are also some support groups for abused woman in relationships. You contact one & see if they have any recommendations. And definitely, please keep trying to talk to her. Sounds like you are a good friend.

You are doing all you can do just be her friend, because she's going to be with him regardless of what anyone says. Until she gets tired of him on her own she is going to continue going back.
