They usually want you to pay money to them to find the surveys for you. Also some will want you to sign up for a service or subscription to something in order for them to find surveys for you. American Consumer Surveys do pay to take surveys,but not very much. Their site is currently under construction and may not be working yet,but you can try there.

Actually I have made money from two different places; one is InboxDollars and the other is HarrisPolls Online, where you earn points and then once you amass enough points you can pick a prize. I made 33.00 from InboxDollars, with another 11.00 in my account (you need I think at least 30.00 in there before they will release a payment to you, that you need to request); and I already got a subscription to one of my fave magazines from Harris so not ALL are scams, though there are some out there, but those two are for real!
