he told me everyone always asked him why he never married. he said some people say "what a shame, and your life will not have any meaning" Also they say who is going to take care of you when you get older? he told me he saids God will. I don't what to make of this, what do you think?

some people just never find their soulmate or they just choose to not marry..most men but not all view it as a trap knowing that if things dont work out within a marriage than divorce will come and most likey the woman will win all the possessions, ect and divorces can get nasty...i know a 70 year old that has never been married, and he's happy with his life as it is....no stress, no worrying about nagging , or complaints about how come you didnt take out the trash, ect.....he lives by himself and seems content with his life and has said he doesnt regret anything he has or hasnt done in his life....

It's his business and if he wants to share anything with those at work then he will. I hate it when people ask nosy things like, " when are you two getting married?", "Married for 5 yrs?? Why don't you have any kids yet?" "When are you having more children?" etc. Why can't people live their own lives and quit getting into other peoples business???
This of course is different if its a close friend.
