It is impossible to produce a human life by "accident". Scientists have been trying to do it for years and can't even come close. The fact that all life is so intricate leads one to decide there must have been intelligent design involved. When you consider people, if we were freak accidents, how would we have developed so completely different and yet the same? We all know that when something goes wrong with one body system the rest of the body is affected. How could a freak accident have occurred and caused such a fine tuned instrument as the human body. This also applies to plants, other animals, and all life forms.

Yeah, our bodies are just SOOO darn perfect, they must have been designed that way!

Except for the appendix, which serves little purpose and is prone to infection and rupture that can kill a person.

Except for the ovaries, which--instead of being directly connected to the fallopian tubes--actually open into the abdominal cavity, increasing the chance that ova are lost before they can be fertilized.

Except for the entire spinal column, which is too weak to support our weight, resulting in back pain, scoliosis, arthritis, slipped disks, and other bone and joint ailments.

Except for the foot, which really needs to be larger and have a more pronounced arch to support our weight.

Except for the nasal passages, which drain into the back of the throat. What a nuisance!

Except for the teeth, which are irreplaceable after the adult set falls out (some dinosaurs had teeth that renewed themselves continuously until the animal died).

Such imperfections (and many more) can be explained by the process of evolution, which is a continuous process resulting in body parts changing configuration over time, sometimes becoming vestigial if they are no longer needed. They cannot be explained so easily by the idea of a perfect creator who, by definition, should not be able to produce anything that is imperfect or incomplete.

Man . . that's actually a really good question. At first I thought, design, because our bodies and the world in general is so intricate and mechanical. But then I thought, hey, a freak accident could cause crap like that too. I mean hello, a chemical spill can really do some weird things to a person. So that's a good thing to ponder . . I might get back to you when I think about that more, lol.
