Judging from the answers, I can tell I'm not the only person (thank gawd for that) to laugh for no apparent reason. No apparent reason meaning nothing related to present situation.. Hahaha..
Yes I'm guilty of that.. Perhaps a reaction to stress?? Or maybe a release from boredom when I'm with boring people. I tend to think of funny things just so I can be happier. Lol. Do you??

No, but I did burst out laughing during the sad part of My Life (a long time ago) when my bf started crying. Needless to say, he wasn't my bf that long afterwards.

Not to scare you, but you could visit a neurologist, especially if it gets worse, and is not related to an elated mood. It could be a sort of tic, or something like tourette's syndrome. Rarely, it could be a brain tumor or focal brain seizure. Or a sign of not fully developed teen brain, or reaction to stress...

happens to me continually, i'm a reminiscing person... continually thinking approximately previous humorous moments so while i'm at college or a public place I remember of random issues that occurred to me and that i basically initiate guffawing and then PAUSE, seem around me and if there are human beings I basically sparkling my throat and walk like no longer something occurred... XD
