I have an old tatoo and would like it removed. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Laser removal, ironically it feels about the same as getting a tattoo.

Unfortunately tattoo removal is a painful process, and is never 100%. The most common practice (and most effective) is laser removal. It works by using laser light to disperse the artificial pigment in the skin. The darker the color the better the results because the light can really refract off of the darker pigments. If you have a tattoo with a lot of light greens and blues, it will fade fairly well, but will always be apparent (especially to you).

You can get it removed with lasers. From what I hear, it is painful and expensive.
