For example, I woud like to write an e-mail Birthday greeting using my G-mail account now, but not have it sent until a particular date and time later this week when I am not here. Is there some sort of free delayed send service you know of?

You can't answer your own question.

TxMom: Yes, normally I would use an e-card service, but in this case I have made a card myself using my own artwork. I don't want it to be sent now so as not to spoil a surprise party. I won't be near a computer on the day.

jaded.beth: Time Cave is ALMOST just what I need, but it's won't let me send an image.

Either of those might work for you.
Good Luck.

If all else fails, do a yahoo search.
Type: Delayed send e-mails and you'll get what you want. There are alot of services out there that do it free.
