Hey I'm making a confession: I like James Taylor's music a lot. He's like Paul Simon...a musician's musician.

Bob Seger was a Detroit city Rocker, Credience was from San Francisco , but I grew up listening to those groups as well as Marshall Tucker, Atlanta Rhythum Section, Charlie Daniels band, Zebra, Black Oak Arkansas and others (living in the deep south and listening to classic rock will get you very educated in southern rock:-)

Probably one of the reasons I like Stuff like Shooter Jennings who has a southern rock stylized song currently called "going to carolina"

When ya got zz goin' or skynard then ya gotta crank the tunes way up, The Allman Bros. there aint nuthin' wrong with Marshall Tucker. If you really now how jam then your already half way there. So much of the real good music and how they played can't be imitated or brought back. Whats out there today kinda falls a little short in terms of great tunes.

I love all of that stuff too! I've seen The Allman Brothers twice. Once in St Paul and once in downtown Chicago! You should check out this camping/concert fest we go to every year!

Loved the Eagles, but have moved on & grown up.
HEAVY METAL NOW.
Louder the better!

But admit Free Bird has to go on the stereo, every now & again!
