I would say it is easy for any one of us to sit and judge from this side of the discussion. Not one of us willing to give our opinion has been in his shoes and had to make the decisions he has had to make. I find it hard to believe that any one American would want to be in a position where they have to make the types of decisions he has had to make. And he has had to make them. Remember 911 - everyone was yelling for war then. Suddam should have been taken out of powere a long time prior to Bush Jr. I give him the credit for actually doing it. Can you imagine having a leader of your country who condones raping women for sport or how about killing children (babies on their tri-cycles in their front yard) with a poinsonous gas that the country's leader ordered to be sprayed throughout the town killing everyone in contact? How about a leader so afraid of his own shawdow that he murders any person who has been rumored to try and overthrow him. My information comes from documentariers that I have seen on PBS - write to them and ask if you doubt what I am saying is true.
I hate seeing our people killed. But, they are protecting the US and Iraq. Whethor any news station will report it or not, Saddam has been trying to join the terrorist ranks against the US for quite some time and it was just a matter of time before he succeeded. But I guess we could sit back and wait for the next attack - and then go after Bush again for doing nothing.
The man is damned if he does and damned if he does not. I know I do not envy his position and the choices he has had to make during his presidency.
Do any one of you really believe that he is so heartless and uncaring that his tactics are about nothing except personal gain? Or is that how you would handle the position if you had the opportunity - I really hope not.
If I met him, I would tell him that I believe he is doing the best job that he knows how, which is all anyone can expect from anybody.

I would tell him that I pray for him every day and wish him the best. I think that any president is going to have his up's and down's. There are things that he does I agree with and some things I don't, however he is the president and needs our support. I know that I am not gonna agree with anyone 100% because I have my on opinions, but on the other hand he is doing a much better job than I ever could.

I would have to say that if you are going to say you are going to go after immigration reform you need to look at all states not just the states that border Mexico. There are immigrants all over the country coming in from all over not just California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. If you are going to step up reform that is fine just do it all over the country do not discriminate against one group of people which is what he is doing now against the Mexican people, and just so you all know I am white as white can be I just know what Bush is doing is wrong and one day here soon it is going to lead to trouble.

bush accomplished a forever-war. from now on, US must stay in Iraq so as to keep Iraq from being taken by terrorists and Islamists (the ones who provoke violence for conversion.) if the US leaves, the Iraqi government will fall and cause utter chaos, and out comes terrorist government. but if the US stays in, the US will fall under the huge debt. this is known as a catch-22. Bush accomplished in raising the price of gas and oil 200% at the minimum. some places even 350%.

Thank you for actually standing for something (whether others like it or not) and not quitting on your views based on what others think. That's solid...even when I think you're a douche-bag for it, I respect you. Thanks for taking office and doing what you said you were going to do -- I like a person who sticks to their word. Thanks for noticing what a high percentage of people support you still because they understand economics. ( by the way, if you have never taken an economics class, you should know that you sound like an *** everytime you talk about G.W. to anyone who is A) a free thinker, B) has successfully taken at least one economics class (with a passing grade) C) doesn't like terrorists or want to cooperate with them. George, I would also like to apologize for the large # of idiots who know nothing about the truth aside from what CNN has presented them with, and therefore they find you unsavory. **** them. I think you're doing the best you can given the variables with which you have to work! :)

Nice to meet you Mr. President, I'm proud to serve this country under a Commander and Chief, who does whats right rather than what the popular want. Keep it up and screw the polls, they were great for President Reagan either but look where he is rated as former Presidents now.

I would say its time to properly and adequately get enough body armor for the troops overseas. Those guys are risking their lives for the American way and the gov't is doing a poor job of protecting them! It's shameful!
