They'll come up to you at bars like you were tight back then when they were assholes, and like you think "Did I miss something here?"

ACT FRIENDLY. Don't remind them of their visciousness.
But don't trust them about anything.

Well, maybe they are more mature now and maybe they are hoping that they can make it up to you somehow. It is not right to always have a grudge, it would make you the better man if you can actually become his friend. However, don't give him all your trust untill you are absolutely sure you can trust him. Not all bad starters ends badly.

Maybe they are wishing it was true. They might hope you don't remember. Obviously now they are impressed and want to be in with you. Or maybe they don't remember their actions! Some people have very convenient memories.
