Your family is letting you know that they're there for you, watching out for you, and still very much a part of your life. Pay attention. As for visiting the same places in your dreams over and over again, I'd have to say that they're trying to tell you something. Can you go to those places? If you can, go with an open mind and just let your senses absorb the atmosphere. You may learn something valuable that they're trying to teach you.

I visit the same places in my dreams. It's funny, they are sort of like real places, but different in odd ways. For example, their is a street neighborhood i know well in Birmingham, Alabama in my dreams, but i haven't seen a street or neighborhood that looks like that in the real Birmingham.
Maybe the relatives seem alive in your dreams because they are alive in your mind.

If you have ever seen some mediums explain relatives coming to you in dreams, they tell you that is a way of your relatives contacting you and letting you know that they are still part of your life. But you need to believe what you ant to believe, if my answer interests you, you may want to look into John Edward's work.

It is because you think of what you did and remember the moments which you've had with your dead relatives.

It's because they are your family. You came from them.
I dream of my great grandmother I never met. Maybe that means we are alot like that person.
It's what I have always figured.
