If very minor and not too deep, use a damp towel (terry cloth for example) and your iron set on low heat. GENTLY iron over the area and the moisture and heat should draw them out.

Get a "putty crayon", as long as they're small...... match it to the finish and it'll fill those pesky dents right in!!
