By now, the snake has probably been dealt with. To prevent it in the future, sprinkle sulfer and/or moth balls around your drainage field. Many snakes do not like the smell of sulfer and will avoid the area in the future.

Rid-X is a product made to help the septic system work properly, by 'recharging' its content of certain bacteria... literally, you are adding bacteria that eats paper, soap, waste, etc.... But it will do nothing as a snake repellent, heheh.

I would suggest, if you think the snake got into the toitlet thru the septic system, that you find where it got in at... there would have to be a hole near the drain field, or tank, I'm thinking. Try closing that up.

You can also goto your local hardware store and by pellets that snakes don't like the smell of, and they will avoid the area.

Good Luck!
