Because that is every male's fantasy.
It is demeaning to both sexes. Why, as men, don't we value women for their intelligence and contribution to society. I, for one, do. But I know that many men do not. It is a shame that women are objectified, and that blondes are singled out for abuse.

it's a ridiculous stereotype society has placed on blondes assuming that just because you're born a certain way you act that way; of course that goes for lots of types of people, regardless of their race, religion, background, etc. But what makes it hard for blond people in my opinion is that some of them feed into the media's portrayal of them (big boobs, being naive) and they use it to boost their images while the intelligent, average women is being stereotyped as a dumb, blonde. I know there are smart intelligent blonde women out there and I think they should prove to society that they capable, independent, women that contribute to society...

I believe the films started this image , and back then men were in charge of the studios decisions . And blonde's , the bluer the eyes and of course sexy = money with modeling , movies , etc. and a dumb lady or simple , helpless female . Thank goodness many Blonde's have employment with some pull and some have shown leadership , as far as sexy it doesn't matter what hair color or eye color sexy is sexy .

Because once the trend started, girls with other color hair, who had big boobs and were hot, decided to dye their hair. Also because if someone is blonde, they may feel the need to make themselves have big boobs and be a hottie...It just matters on the person. MayMay

Stereotypes, gotta hate em. Blonds are beautiful and smart and everything else that is good, it is those few that act like sluts(dumb) and just happen to be hot and are well endowed.
