yes because your hair gets frizzy and wet which is exactly what you don't want to happen. its like getting your hair done on a rainy day and u have no umbrella. hope i could help!

NO! you need to no longer wash your hair previous to perming it. this can convey about serious scalp burn. Definately do no longer swim and then loosen up. stay out of the pool, get you hair comfortable, and then bypass swimming. positioned on a cap because the chlorine isn't a good blend with perm chemical compounds.

ive always thought that after a perm you cant get your hair wet for like 3 days maybe just 2 but ya i dont think swimming would be good at all

yes, you shouldn't have permed your hair if you was going to go swimming ,you should've waited to perm your hair because the chlorine can break off your hair so what you need to do now is condition your hair with a product called hair mayonnaise it is something like a cholesterol conditioner, and that will stop the breaking.

Yes it will not stay in as long and wreck your hair. After a straight perm my hairdresser told me not to wash it for 48 hrs becos the chemicals were still working on my hair.....................

yes your stylist should have told you not to get your hair wet for at least 24 hours. It will wash the chemical out that is still trying to work in your hair. That is my it still stinks the next day, because that chemical is still working.
