these people say jobs and i say get one but dont work too muhc. youre 16. you should be out having fun. i mean this is your last summer where you wont have to work all the time most likely so enjoy it. do anything you feel like its completly up to you.

Help your mom. Develop some goals. Have your mom help you write a plan for the summer - could include helping with household chores, socializing, reading, keeping your room clean and tidy, work a little job.

I m not the right person to give u da advice i guess, coz i m 16, but i guess u shud go 4 sum xtra-curricular activities lyke basketball, football n stuff lyke dancin! then hang out wid u r frenzz coz u will spend the best times of your life wid em. then sleep n eat ofcourse! n yeah do watch T.V as also sit on da net! N yeah do give ans to ppl on this forum!

as an alternative to working, you should volunteer in a field/job that you want to be in...the advantage to volunteering is that you'll be exposed to more advanced work than what you'll be doing if you get paid (bosses know that teenagers may be educated, but they are not willing to pay good money for teenagers to make decisions, so teenagers are given the crappy, low paid jobs...but if you want to help without pay, ANY BOSS will gladly receive you and give you something to do...even the highest bosses!)...good luck making a decision:-)

it will give you a sense of indepence and self worth
besides wouldnt it be fun to have money you earned yourself to spend however you wanted?

keep out of trouble, read a great novel, stay young and have fun (like hiking, biking, swimming, skating...)
