Because they finally ended most of the other sports. With only about 2 sports one has to be the worst. Much as I like Hockey Football is still better. Although part of it is the seasons. 16 games is easier to follow and each are more important then 82. That's why so many hockey fans start paying attention at the end of the season instead of the whole season. Although could be like Baseball and play 162 games. Talk about retarded.

the two biggest things wrong with hockey is the offsides call if they would do away with this rule the game would flow so much better and that it is so hard to watch on tv live is so much better and with it being not so tv friendly it will never grow in size

Is it because your daddy never took you ice skating when you were a kid? Or because you are simply too narrow-minded to think that everyone has different tastes? Different strokes for different folks! I think hockey is GREAT.
