About the song, that's odd. Are you sure it's working that way for everyone that accesses your page? Maybe you should ask someone else to check it out for you.
Ok, to make your photo smaller all you have to do is get on microsoft paint. You open up your picture, you go to the upper bar and you choose Image/Picture. You click and you will choose expand or contract. (These translations may be wrong because my computer's in spanish), then here's where you can play around with your picture. If you want to reduce your picture by half, then on the two first boxes write "50", leave the two boxes on the bottom as they were. Then click accept. You will notice your picture has been shrunk by half, so the size in kbs, of course, has changed as well. You can also put 60, or 70. Depends on how small you want your picture. If you wish to return to the original size, you can Undo changes or you can simply Expand (using the two boxes on the bottom, if you have shrunk your picture by 50, expand by 100, by 60, expand by 120 and so on).
It's pretty simply. I know I gave a huge explanation but I hope it works, because I always use this method.
Then save changes...you can save as, to keep the 600 kb separate from your new smaller picture.

About the music, go to Account Settings from your homepage. Then click on Music Settings. From there, uncheck both boxes. This should make your music start without you having to click on it.
About your photo, you have to have some software that will crop or resize your photo. I have Irfanview, which I believe is the software from download.com, and it works fine. If you use that program, go to Image, select Resize/Resample, and then select Half until your picture is small enough.

I always click "add song" and then it plays in my profile automatically.
As for resizing, you will need to download something to resize it. Assuming you have XP as your OS, there's a Microsoft XP power toy that you can download that is very easy to use. You just right click on your picture, and then click "resize".
