I agree with the previous statement- women are not a minority. But, I would say that they are historically an "oppressed group."
They are very underrepresented.

It's better than it has been. We've got Pelosi, Feinstein, Clinton and several other brilliant, caring women. What the women do not have in numbers they certainly do have in smarts. Many other countries have female presidents. I don't know why Americans are so behind the times.

Women arent really considered a minority these days, however, they should realize that certain jobs are just custom designed to be a mans job, like, umm the Presidency, just to name one.
