Thomas Edison's quote which says that "Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.

I also like one very much that I don't know the author of. It says "Music Soothes The Savage Beast And Brings Joy To The Heart Of Man."

I also found one by one of my favorite finger style guitarists, Tommy Emmanuel, c.g.p. He says that the guitar is "His instrument of mass 'Construction.'"

Those are my favorite quotes.

The Litany Against Fear, from the Dune series by Frank Herbert.
I must not fear.
Fear is the mind killer.
Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see it's path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

And so it is.

I am afraid that it is not very inspirational, but it is in the Jaws movie when the sheriff see the shark for the first time. "I think we are going to need a bigger boat!" When you see it in context of the movie it is great. :)

This too shall pass.
If your are living like there is no God, you had better hope there isn't one.
