What state? Backwoods seys yeas, since the life expectency taint that long, a 12 year old can say I do intend to marry you, then she's considred married, the ceramony, however has to wait pertnear 2 to 3 years.

In middle eastern countries it is not unusual to see of this, Most of the time the marriages are arranged and the children are wed at their 5th birthday. Once they turn of age, usually around 16 they are then re-married formally in another ceremony and begin to live together in the husbands parents house until they finish schooling.

In certain states if a parent signs off on the marriage then yes they can assuming that state does not also require a court order
