How do I bacome famous?

I live in a town that no one's ever heard of. I live in Kingman, AZ. I can act very well, but I don't know when auditions are. I want to be famous more than anything in the world!!! I wish I knew when auditions were, or if there was some other way to become famous!!!

If this is what you want more than anything in the world and you are seriously willing to work hard for it and take risks it can be yours... to the extent is really up to you, it's a funny thing.

first of all, in a small town while you are still in school... not sure what level... get involved in drama. if you are in highschool there should be a drama program. even if it's not cool to do it, who cares? get invovled, immerse yourself in all the theatrical training you can get. if there is a local theater call and ask when their auditions are. if they are the least bit professional they will require that you prepare a monologue (2-3 minute piece with YOU acting alone). you can search the internet for monologues they are all over the place. i also like to pull them out of cool books, add to them and make them mine. rehearse your monologue and memorize it. this is what you will use to audition with. whatever you do try your hardest to make it seem REAL and not like you are acting. those who aren't in the biz try to give direction that includes big gestures, etc... and you need to ignore it.

next...... save your pennies, work hard during the school year, beg for birthday presents, etc... for your parents or self to send you during the summer to storng theatrical camps in the bigger cities near you. and if it's not too far and as your confidence grows look on the internet and call all the theaters in the big city and ask when their auditions are.... and start going!!!!!!!! remember auditioning is a process and an experience. you have to go to alot to build your confidence and comfortableness but if you want it bad enough it WILL come, nothing will deter you.

again, i don't know how far you are from a big city but the next step is to audtion for UNION FRANCHISED (SAG AND AFTRA) agencies. look on the internet or in the yellow pages for "talent agencies" then look again for franchised agencies. call all of them and ask "when is your open call day?" if they say they don't have one then ask how to submit? meaning do they want tape or just a head shot and resume? if ti's a head shot and resume you will by now have something to put on it because you've been doing theater. if it's by tape then you "slate" at the front of the tape, "hello, my name is_______ and I'm ________ years old." the person taping then shoudl ask you one or two open end questions that are unrehearsed and will show off yoru personality. next, perform your monologue.

if the agencies require headshots, though most want you to use their photographers if you are in their agency... then look up under photographers... but you aren't looking for a place that does family portraits or anything like that. you want someoen who shoots commercially for the big chains int eh area possibly and does some "headshots" on teh side. ask them how many headshots they have done and it might help you to know if it's someone good to try. best--- look at their portfolio first! many photographer's these days have portfolio's on the internet.

next go to a strong theatrical university when you graduate from highschool. and then head to los angeles or new york after you graduate from college. that is your best foot in the door. and another letter to describe how to break into hollywood after you are trained. hope this helps! goood luck!

I guess the best question to ask is why do you want to be famous? Do you want the glory and the press coverage like Paris Hilton, or do you really want to be an actress because you love it and don't want to spend your life doing anything else? If the second is the case then you shouldn't look to be "famous" per say, but look to become the best that you can. Then, if you really are the best, you'll get where God wants you to go. It may take some time, but the best things in life are worth waiting for. I'd say get an acting teacher and coach so you can get better. Then start auditioning for community theaters in your area. Theater is the number one way to get great acting experience, and it's live so you learn how to improve, which can be good for film. I'd say gain experience, then audition for colleges as a performing arts/theater major and then you'll have lots of people coming to see your shows all of the time. Once you get at that level, and you have a job in the mean time, you can afford to get an agent. Then slowly other opportunities will start to open. Good Luck and God Bless!

There are modeling and casting agencies that can represent you.
You should find their contacts and do an audition before the upcoming season.

give up everyone you care about, kill yourself trying to be skinny... lie and pretend to like everyone you meet... and above all SELL OUT COMPLETELY!

Please don't do it, I have seen hopeful young girls turn into very sad old women. Be yourself and live your life... be kind to people and make conenctions... don't ever try to be famous. Just try to be interesting and have fun. Maybe fate will make you famous, maybe not...
