It really does depend. Maybe 20 to 50 miles +/- Sometimes they will pass by in a few minutes, other times 1/2 hour. Don't run around outside just because the wind stops blowing.

Depends, the smallest ever was 5 miles across which was a cyclone that hit australia, and the largest ever was a 230 mile wide eye that hit okinawa. Generally the smaller the eye, the stronger the hurricane. The first hurricane had winds of 190 mph, and the second had winds of 75 mph.

It's depends on the intensity. Hurricane Georges pass me over and I takes some 10 minutes of calm. The wind change in direction is very weird.

depends where the hurricane is and how big but usually no more than 50 miles
