I'm having a few friends over (boys & girls) for a party.
first we're going swimming, then we're gonna order pizza & watch movies..
I wanted some movies that would be good for both the boys and girls.
thanks

(we're in 8th grade.. 13 & 14 year olds)

Definitely, comedy. Perhaps you want to spice it up and add suspense or something.

I would suggest Napoleon Dynamite because it's hilarious. On the more serious side, Donnie Darko. Guys love it cause it's weird and girls love it because Jake Gyllenhaal is on it. (And I must add that he looks suuuuuper cute on it)

You could also go with some old movies everyone loves like Jurassic Park, Edward Scissorhands, Ferris Bueller, The Breakfast Club.

In 8th grade, my guy friends always wanted to watch movies like American Pie but...the girls dont like that too much.

I think the movies I recommended guarantee a fun night :)

Kentucky Fried Movie was funny ,but I think its rated R
Theres something about Mary is a very good movie.
Kung Fu Hustle was hilarious. that would be a good pick.
Transformers the movie is a good old-school pick.
